If you have any questions before you begin please post them here.
By now, or tomorrow at the latest, you should have meal prepped for success.
Breakfast can be prepared tonight. Check out the calendar to see the recipes for Day 1 & 2.
Q. Are meals the same all week long?
A. Breakfast and lunch change weekly and dinners for this pilot group change 3 times in a week.
Q. Seven days and three dinners? How does that work?
A. Dinners are made in larger, family sized portions. In order to accommodate the average challenger the three meals can be stretched over the week, and it leaves room for quicker meals or takeout/special events/out of house dinners if needed. No wasted fresh food here!
Q. Can I substitute a vegetable or protein if I don't like something?
A. Yes! As long as it's vegan you're good to go. Check out the blog for more info and advice for substitutes.
Q. Am I allowed snacks and treats in this challenge?
A. Although clean eats are definitely recommended for challengers and in general by iWannaVfit, if it's vegan it's allowed here. Check out the blog for some healthier options.
Q. Do I need to worry about supplementing while doing this challenge? Am I going to get enough protein?
A. Supplementing is always a good idea, No matter what plan or lifestyle you are living. Unfortunately our food isn't what it used to be and not as nutritious. Supplementing with a good quality protein mix, fibre and greens is a very healthy idea. The average challenger (depending on activity level and metabolism - we're all very different) your protein intake will be more than sufficient. Any worries about this, please let me know.
