When you are choosing which veggies to eat, the darker green they are the better! If fact, I don't ever track the following: Broccoli, Spinach, Kale, Asparagus. Lettuce, Cucumber and Cauliflower. (I know it's not green but it starts out that way!) I don't feel stressed going "over" my carbs when I do this and I am getting in the necessary veggies for a healthy lifestyle!
